The Trevor Project Hotline
The Trevor Project is the leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to LGBTQ young people ages 13 to 24. They provide information and support 24/7, all year round.
According to Trevor Project reporting, LGBTQ young people are almost five times as likely to have attempted suicide compared to heterosexual youth. Furthermore, each episode of victimization, such as physical or verbal harassment or abuse, increases the likelihood of self-harming behavior by 2.5 times on average.
