Mainers tend to be creative and innovative folks, and Centre Streeters are no different. In March of 2000, when the Covid pandemic hit town, we all scurried to our safe homes and Zoom screens. It wouldn't last long, we told ourselves. But meanwhile, what to do? What to do?

Somehow a Zoom production of "The Amazing Interplanetary Adventures of Flash Gordon" sounded like more fun than a paint-by-number of cocker spaniels. So off we went, and we are—inexplicably, some would say—still at it.
